The 22nd Annual Parade of Lights will be held on Sunday, December 1 and this year's theme is "Christmas Fun for Everyone." The parade will begin at dusk and depart from Capaha Bank and proceed east on Broadway, then south on Main and ends at Main & Independence. All floats must be lighted and have Christmas music playing. Entries are limited to the first 100 applications and information about parade entry can be found here. We also encourage people coming out to enjoy the parade to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots. Like last year, the Marine Corps League will walk through the parade and collect the toys. We helped the Marine Corps collect over 500 toys during the parade last yeat and hope to exceed that amount this year. This event is sponsored by Rhodes 101 Stores, Drury Southwest, Robinson Construction and Primo Vino.
||The Downtown Christmas Open House will take place on Friday, December 6 from 5 to 9 p.m. Attractions will include great holiday shopping, special in-store events, caroling, free wagon rides, free pictures with Santa and children's activities in Santa's Workshop (114 N.
