Update Open House #2/Survey

The Downtown Strategic Plan is based on a 2 ½ year planning process in partnership with the State of Missouri and PGAV (urban planners) through the Downtown Revitalization and Economic Assistance for Missouri (DREAM) Initiative.  Local planning partners included the City of Cape Girardeau, Old Town Cape and the Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce.

Adopted in July 2009, the Strategic Plan is an implementation resource for improvements in downtown for the next 5 to 10 years and promotes creative, positive, and feasible change to downtown Cape Girardeau. It serves as a supplement to the City of Cape Girardeau’s Comprehensive Plan.
